思擇素怛覽義者，素怛覽藏依此論說十二分中，多分攝七分，除緣起譬喻本事本生此四毘奈耶藏攝，緣起自性故，餘三眷屬故。

Regarding 'reflection upon the meaning of sūtras': the Sūtra Piṭaka, according to this treatise's account of the twelve divisions, for the most part subsumes seven divisions, excluding nidāna, avadāna, itivṛttaka, and jātaka, which are subsumed under the Vinaya Piṭaka because nidāna is intrinsic nature, while the other three are attendant factors.
