勝義伽陀者，明無我理。意趣伽陀者，釋伽陀意，如四意趣等。體義伽陀者，景云：謂明諸法體性差別。基云：謂明伽陀中，體性義理。

Ultimate truth gāthās clarify the principle of non-self. Intentional gāthās explain the intent of the gāthās, as in the four intentional meanings and so forth. Essence-and-meaning gāthās: Jing says they clarify the distinctions of the essential natures of phenomena; Ji says they clarify the essential natures and doctrinal principles in the gāthās.
