斷方便，斷勝利者，第四行頌中，上半頌明了無常性已不起貪著名斷方便，後半頌明度暴流已終無有退名斷勝利。

'Expedient means of severance and the benefits of severance': in the fourth verse, the first half verse clarifies that having understood impermanence, one no longer gives rise to craving and attachment, which is called the expedient means of severance; the second half verse clarifies that having crossed the flood, one will never regress, which is called the benefits of severance.
