In the thirteenth section, the gāthās on "Attaining the Meaning," one and a half verses pose questions, and one and a half verses provide answers. "Fully knowing its beginning" means knowing the cause of origin. The three below, "fully knowing suffering, cessation, and path," follow in sequence. "Well-seeing, well-knowing, well-discerning, and well-penetrating" are to be understood in sequence through the cognitions of the four truths of origin and so forth.
