基云：善說，是總句；後二是別說，體名善言，說義名善論。善言、善論皆有善說三相，善說三相或別配後三句，或隨所應通後三句。

Master Ji says: 'Well spoken' is the general phrase; the latter two are specific statements: its essence is called 'good words', and expounding its meaning is called 'good discourse'. Both good words and good discourse possess the three characteristics of what is well spoken; the three characteristics of what is well spoken are either matched specifically with the latter three lines or applied across the latter three lines as appropriate.
