泰云：法爾種子，非當有故，名為現，非假法故，名為有，若值如來菩薩勝緣，便有性種姓堪能及有習性勢力，於有餘能得於無餘能證。

Tai says: Because they are natural seeds and not future existents, they are called "present"; because they are not conventional dharmas, they are called "existing." If one encounters the superior conditions of the Tathāgata and bodhisattvas, one then possesses the capability of the natural gotra and the power of the cultivated gotra, being able to attain [nirvāṇa] with remainder and realize [nirvāṇa] without remainder.
