加行近者，或於此生不久即能起於加行，或更經一生即能起於加行，或加行不久得涅槃，皆名加行近。
As for 'near by preparation': either in this life they will soon be able to initiate preparation, or through one more life they will be able to initiate preparation, or not long after preparation they will attain nirvāṇa—all these are called near by preparation.
