六門者，一、辨三，此說下略義中標數，故言辨三道理。廣文有六：一、安住具戒；二、善能守護別解律儀；三、軌則圓滿；四、所行圓滿；五、於少罪見大怖畏；六、受學學處。

As for the six gates: First, distinguishing the three: this refers to designating the number in the brief meaning below, hence it speaks of the principle of distinguishing the three. The extensive text has six: (1) abiding in complete discipline; (2) being well able to guard the restraint of the Prātimokṣa; (3) perfection of demeanor; (4) perfection of conduct; (5) seeing great fear in minor offenses; and (6) undertaking and training in the training precepts.
