第八正知而住中，初廣；次略；後結。初中有四：一、列九門；二、廣解；三、辨九種前後次第；四、攝九為二，謂行時、住時。前五為行，後四為住。列九如文。

In the eighth section, on abiding in clear comprehension: first, extensive; next, brief; finally, concluding. The first has four parts: 1. enumerating the nine headings; 2. explaining them extensively; 3. distinguishing the sequential order of the nine; 4. subsuming the nine into two, namely times of moving and times of abiding. The first five are moving, and the latter four are abiding. The enumeration of the nine is as in the text.
