6.338

初解諫舉中，犯戒者，犯二百五十戒等。犯軌則者，犯大眾共五諸餘軌則。其有五德者，由三根故，能正諫舉。

First, regarding the explanation of admonishing and raising [faults]: 'transgressing the precepts' refers to transgressing the two hundred and fifty precepts and so forth. 'Transgressing the regulations' refers to transgressing the other regulations shared by the great community. 'One who possesses the five virtues' is capable of properly admonishing and raising [faults] on the basis of the three grounds.
