6.418

莊嚴十四門者：一、正信；二、無諂；三、少病；四、精進；五、慧；六、少欲喜足；七、易養易滿；八、杜多功德；九、端嚴；十、知量；十一、善士法；十二、具聰慧相；十三、忍辱柔和；十四、成賢善法。

The fourteen gates of adornment are: (1) correct faith; (2) absence of deceit; (3) fewness of illnesses; (4) vigor; (5) wisdom; (6) few desires and contentment; (7) ease of being nourished and ease of being satisfied; (8) virtues of ascetic purification (dhūta-guṇa); (9) dignified composure; (10) knowing moderation; (11) qualities of a good person; (12) possessing the marks of intelligence; (13) patience and gentleness; and (14) accomplished in wholesome qualities.
