第三釋名中，舊名頭陀，訛也。今名杜多，此云修治，或翻抖揀，或翻洗浣等。

Under the third, explaining the name: the old name was *toutuo*, which was an error. Now it is named *duto* (dhūta), translated here as 'cultivating and regulating', or translated as 'shaking off and selecting', or translated as 'washing clean', and so forth.
