此所知事已下，明由散心聞法為緣令彼定中作意現前，或緣教法而起勝解，或緣教下所詮所知之事而起勝解。

From 'these knowable phenomena' downward, it clarifies that, taking the hearing of Dharma with a scattered mind as a condition, it causes that attention in samādhi to become present before one, either generating resolute belief cognizing the teachings of the doctrine, or generating resolute belief cognizing the knowable phenomena signified under the teachings.
