6.501

若愚無常苦空無我，應於緣起處非處善巧安住其心者，緣起與處非處義相揩定，謂善巧知無明生行，行生於識，乃至生生老死名於緣起，善巧知真實義愚，及以善行能引識等，乃至生於人天生老死支名是處。若感惡趣生老死支名為非處，故於緣起及處非處善巧，即如有為有漏苦空及以無常無我。

Regarding 'if deluded about impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness, one should settle one's mind upon skill in dependent origination and possibilities and impossibilities': dependent origination and possibilities and impossibilities correspond to and determine each other's meaning; that is, skillfully knowing that ignorance generates karmic formations, karmic formations generate consciousness, up to birth generating aging-and-death is called [skill] in dependent origination. Skillfully knowing that ignorance of the true meaning and wholesome actions can induce consciousness and so on, up to birth in human and heavenly realms as the branch of aging-and-death, is called a possibility; if inducing the branch of aging-and-death in miserable destinies, it is called an impossibility. Therefore, skill in dependent origination and possibilities and impossibilities corresponds to conditioned and tainted phenomena being suffering, empty, impermanent, and selfless.
