6.73

基又解云：初隨逐處有一相於聖果未能隨證；第二、隨逐處有四相謂生老病死；第三、隨逐處有一謂愛別離法；第四、隨逐處有一謂自業所作。

[Kuiji] explains again: 'In the first pursued base, there is one mark: not yet being able to realize the noble fruit. In the second pursued base, there are four marks: birth, aging, sickness, and death. In the third pursued base, there is one: the phenomenon of separation from what is loved. In the fourth pursued base, there is one: created by one's own karma.'
