初中復三：初、標便起如理作意；次、明依四處起二十二觀故乃成出家及沙門想；後、明六修相斷修之相。

The first part again has three divisions: first, indicating that one then gives rise to proper attention; next, explaining that based on four bases one gives rise to twenty-two contemplations and thereby forms the notion of having gone forth and being a śramaṇa; and finally, explaining the characteristics of abandonment and cultivation among the six aspects of cultivation.
