第四因中有五者：一、遠離非所行處；二、既遠離已樂斷樂修；三、於晝夜分觀自他衰盛等事心生厭患；四、修六隨念；五、住四聖種。

Regarding the five aspects in the fourth cause: 1. avoiding inappropriate spheres of activity; 2. having avoided them, delighting in abandonment and delighting in cultivation; 3. during the day and night, contemplating the decline and prosperity of oneself and others, giving rise to revulsion in the mind; 4. cultivating the six recollections; 5. abiding in the four noble lineages.
