泰師又解：或有方便，不同於此。將問法師，法師云：方便瑜伽義有眾多，隨一為定便違道理。若據下二十九中與八斷行相攝，云方便五法為體也。

Master Tai further explains: 'Some expedient means are not the same as this.' When about to ask the Dharma Master, the Dharma Master said: 'The meanings of expedient yoga are manifold; to determine it as any single one would contravene reason. If based on the twenty-ninth [fascicle] below where it is subsumed under the eight activities of abandoning, it says that five dharmas of expedient means constitute its essence.'
