此義上下無妨，依中邊論辨其位者，四念住四正斷四神足在前三方便解脫分中，五根在𤏙頂，五力在忍第一法，七覺在見道，初覺悟故，八正在修道，離於修斷八邪法故。

This meaning is unobjectionable throughout. Distinguishing their stages according to the *Madhyāntavibhāga*: the four applications of mindfulness, four correct abandonments, and four bases of psychic power are within the factors of liberation among the first three expedients; the five faculties are at [the levels of] warmth and summit; the five powers are at [the levels of] patience and the highest worldly dharma; the seven awakenings are in the path of seeing, because of first awakening; the eightfold right [path] is in the path of cultivation, because of departing from the eight wrong phenomena abandoned through cultivation.
