下解生善生欲等，於中復二：初解生欲：後、解策勵精進，並牒經文解釋，就解策勵精進中，三番釋。

Below, generating desire to give rise to good and so forth is explained, within which there are again two parts: first, explaining generating desire; second, explaining exerting effort and striving, both citing and commenting on the sutra text. In explaining exerting effort and striving, it is elucidated in three rounds.
