稻幹積等者，幹之言莖，西國野田治稻留秆聚集為𧂐行植多者或在𧂐下。

'Piles of straw and the like': gan means stalk. In the rural fields of the western countries, when harvesting rice, the stalks are left and gathered into mounds; where many rows are planted, one may dwell beneath these mounds.
