自下第二釋觀品，於中，初、正釋四種毘鉢舍那；二、又即如是毘鉢舍那，由三門六事已下，廣解觀品差別所緣。於中有三：初、總解毘鉢舍那三門六事差別所緣；次、云何勤修不淨觀者已下，約五度觀門別辨六事差別所緣；後、如是依止淨行所緣尋思六事差別觀已下，總結依淨行所緣尋思六事觀已止觀互助其善巧淨，或六事觀指當說處。

Next, the second part explains the category of contemplation (vipaśyanā). Within this: first, it directly explains the four kinds of vipaśyanā; second, from 'Furthermore, such vipaśyanā, through the three gateways and six objects' onward, it extensively explains the distinct intentional objects of the category of contemplation. Within this there are three parts: first, a general explanation of the distinct intentional objects of vipaśyanā's three gateways and six objects; next, from 'How does one diligently cultivate the contemplation of impurity?' onward, it distinguishes the distinct intentional objects of the six objects according to the five contemplative gateways; finally, from 'Having thus investigated the distinct contemplation of the six objects relying on the intentional objects for purifying conduct' onward, it summarizes that having investigated the contemplation of the six objects relying on the intentional objects for purifying conduct, śamatha and vipaśyanā mutually assist their skillfulness and purity, or indicates the place where the contemplation of the six objects will be explained.
