7.451

前中，謂初修業者，全不於五停所緣境繫縛其心，唯念得無散乃至離諸作用於內適悅於外相無思惟，除遣所緣，修習行中，攝受適悅。

In the former: it refers to beginners not tying their minds at all to the five focal objects for stilling the mind, but only being mindful of attaining non-distraction, down to being free from all activities, inwardly joyous, having no thought of external signs, dispelling focal objects, and receiving joy amidst the practice of cultivation.
