7.454

云何而行乃至不取不捨下，釋不捨不取之義。由於所緣，止行轉故，不名為捨乃至不能往趣，乃至現觀所知境事，此返解釋。由數勝解，數除遣故下，順釋。

From "How does one practice? Down to neither grasping nor abandoning" downward, it explains the meaning of neither abandoning nor grasping. Because serene practice operates with respect to the focal object, it is not called abandoning, down to being unable to proceed toward or directly realize the matters of known objects—this is an inverse explanation. From "because of repeated resolute determination and repeated dispelling" downward, it is a concordant explanation.
