7.520

如說貪行是不淨觀之所調伏已下，第二類餘四停觀，初、總類同；後、顯差別異不淨觀。於中分四：初、解慈觀，復分為二：初、解於三品有情修與樂觀；二、又彼不捨已下，明慈行趣入念住。

From "Just as it is said that conduct characterized by greed is subdued by the contemplation of impurity" onward, the second part analogizes the remaining four contemplations that halt [mental disturbances]: first, broadly analogizing their similarity; afterward, revealing their differences from the contemplation of impurity. Here there are four parts. First, explaining the contemplation of loving-kindness, which is again divided into two: first, explaining the cultivation of the contemplation of bestowing happiness upon three grades of sentient beings; second, from "Moreover, they do not abandon..." onward, clarifying the entry of the practice of loving-kindness into the applications of mindfulness.
