泰云：初以百為一數至第十，即是十百名千，又以十十百為一故云十十數為一，漸次數之乃至滿十即是萬也，十箇十百故云十十。
Tai says: 'Initially taking one hundred as one count up to the tenth, that is ten hundreds, called one thousand; further taking ten-ten hundreds as one, hence it says "ten tens counted as one", gradually counting them up to ten, which is ten thousand—ten lots of ten hundred, hence it says "ten tens".'
