7.88

遠法師云：約通言之，始從異生至無學果竝作此觀。若別相說，初四始觀在五停心，成在四念，次八竝在於念處位，後四從𤏙至無學果。

Master Yuan says: Speaking generally, from ordinary beings up to the fruit of non-learning, all practice this contemplation. If speaking of their specific aspects: the initial contemplation of the first four is in the fivefold mind-stilling meditation, and their completion is in the four stations of mindfulness; the next eight are all at the stage of the stations of mindfulness; the last four are from the stage of heat up to the fruit of non-learning.
