8.305

言殊勝者，正出性種之體。有如是相下，重復分別，分別如前。此依三藏作此二解。又有人解：雖復通依內外六處不過六故，但言六處，餘義如前。

As for 'excellence', it directly presents the essence of the natural gotra. From 'possesses such characteristics' downward, it distinguishes it again, with the distinction as before. This relies on the Tripiṭaka Master [Xuanzang] in providing these two explanations. Furthermore, another person explained: Although it generally relies upon the internal and external six bases, because they do not exceed six, it merely says 'six bases'; the rest of the meaning is as before.
