8.339

就辨施中有三：初、徵問發起；次、正解釋；第三、總結。正解文中，初辨三施，第二、六句分別。前中又二：初、明菩薩本性樂施；第二、對境能行。能行又三：初、明財施；次、辨法施；後、無畏。

Concerning the differentiation of giving, there are three [parts]: first, raising the question to introduce it; second, the main explanation; and third, the general conclusion. In the text of the main explanation, first the three kinds of giving are distinguished; second, there is a six-clause analysis. Within the former, there are again two: first, explaining the bodhisattva's fundamental nature of delighting in giving; second, being able to practice toward objects. Being able to practice also has three: first, explaining the gift of wealth; next, distinguishing the gift of the Dharma; and finally, [the gift of] fearlessness.
