菩提數等者，此據世俗言說道理，此之發心亦名趣入，基解意同泰云：登地已上得真法空無漏智故，是勝義諦大菩提數，地前菩薩但發求心未得法空，故依世俗假名說為大菩提數，意亦大同。

Regarding 'counted among bodhi' and so forth: This is based on the conventional, verbal principle; this generation of the mind is also named 'entering.' Ji's explanation has the same import. Tai says: Because those who have ascended the bhūmis and above have attained the taintless wisdom of genuine emptiness of dharmas, they are counted among the great bodhi of the ultimate truth. Bodhisattvas prior to the bhūmis merely generate the mind of seeking and have not yet attained the emptiness of dharmas; therefore, based on conventional, nominal designation, they are described as counted among great bodhi. The meaning is also largely the same.
