8.81

第四辨五通中，初、略辨要，先、已得根本靜慮；後、依修通正法聽聞受持。初、依聞思作意思惟；次、依定地作意了知義法。

In the fourth part, discerning the five supernormal knowledges, first, it briefly discerns the essentials: first, one has already attained fundamental dhyāna; subsequently, one listens to and upholds the correct Dharma for cultivating supernormal knowledges. First, relying on the attention of hearing and thinking, one contemplates; next, relying on the attention of the concentrated stage, one comprehends the meaning and the Dharma.
