8.98

前中，解脫勝處遍處想者，謂內有色觀外色想，內無色觀外色想，內無色觀青黃等淨色想，或勝處中觀內無色觀外色少等想，或遍處中觀青黃等遍滿想，由於此想親近修習多修習故，能除通擁所有障礙，能引最勝諸聖神通。

In the former, "the perceptions of the liberations, the bases of mastery, and the totalities" refers to the perception of viewing external forms while having inner forms, the perception of viewing external forms while being internally formless, the perception of pure forms such as blue or yellow while internally formless; or within the bases of mastery, the perception of being internally formless and viewing external forms as small, and so forth; or within the totalities, the perception of blue, yellow, and so forth pervading everywhere. Because one draws near to, cultivates, and repeatedly cultivates these perceptions, one can eliminate all obstructions and blockages to supernormal powers and induce the most supreme noble supernormal powers.
