測云：又如變化等似而非實，即是八喻，如決擇說：即依他。攝大乘云：八喻，顯依他者，以依他譬依他起。

Ce says: Furthermore, 'resembling like magical transformations and so forth, yet not real' refers to the eight similes; as explained in the Viniścaya, they are precisely the dependent nature. The Mahāyānasaṃgraha says: 'The eight similes reveal the dependent,' because they use the dependent to illustrate the dependent nature.
