次解隨念宿住智通中，初辨憶念境事；二、又由宿住智憶念本生為諸有情下，明其業用。前中有三：初、牒問；第二、解釋；第三、結。

Next, in explaining the supernormal power of the knowledge of recollecting past abodes, it first distinguishes the matters of the objective field of recollection; second, from "Furthermore, by the knowledge of past abodes, recollecting previous births for the sake of sentient beings" downward, it clarifies its activity and function. In the first part there are three: first, taking up and asking; second, explaining; third, concluding.
