9.346

前中又三：初有二句明佛菩薩以宿住智能知自他曾所經事；二、又能令他得宿住智能知自他曾經事；三、如是有情後令他得宿住智已下，明展轉相教，皆得宿住智能知自他。

In the first part there are again three: first, there are two clauses clarifying that the Buddhas and bodhisattvas, by the knowledge of past abodes, can know the matters previously experienced by themselves and others; second, they can also cause others to obtain the knowledge of past abodes and be able to know matters previously experienced by themselves and others; third, from "Having caused other such sentient beings afterward to obtain the knowledge of past abodes" downward, it clarifies mutual instruction in turn, so that all obtain the knowledge of past abodes and can know themselves and others.
