測云：有人依涅槃經說：一切眾生皆有佛性等文證，謗新翻經論非是正說，此即不可，所以者何？舊善戒經及地持論皆同說無種姓人可以人天而成熟之。

Ce states: There are people who, relying on passages in the Nirvāṇa Sūtra saying that all sentient beings have Buddha-nature and so forth as proof, slander the newly translated sūtras and treatises as not being correct teachings; this is impermissible. Why is that? Both the old Bodhisattvacaryānirdeśa (Shanjiejing) and the Bodhisattvabhūmi (Dichilun) alike state that gotra-less persons can be matured through [the dharmas of] humans and gods.
