基云：此中勝解行，如攝論即第一僧祇菩薩，以於四真諦理起決定勝解故，以此文證決擇分善是第一僧祇，是勝解行位故。

Ji says: Here, 'resolute conviction'—as in the Mahāyānasaṃgraha—refers to a bodhisattva of the first asaṃkhyeya [kalpa], because they give rise to definitive, resolute conviction regarding the principle of the four noble truths. By this text it is proven that the roots of goodness of the aid to penetration (nirvedha-bhāgīya) belong to the first asaṃkhyeya [kalpa], because this is the stage of practicing with resolute conviction.
