前品數者，前明成就方便有二十七種。於中，前五唯是下品，餘二十二麁有三品，次分九品，後就差別，有無量品。

Regarding the previous [point on] grades and numbers, it was previously explained that there are twenty-seven kinds of expedients of maturation. Among them, the first five are exclusively of the lower grade; the remaining twenty-two are roughly divided into three grades, then subdivided into nine grades, and subsequently, in terms of their distinctions, there are immeasurable grades.
