The explanation says: The Abhidharmasamuccaya states that from the sixteen minds of the path of seeing onward, throughout the entire path of training up to the vajropama-samādhi, the previous ten faculties are the entity of the faculty of that which has been known. Thus we know that those associated with the wisdoms of hearing, reflection, and cultivation are broadly included as the faculty of that which has been known; hence, the faculty of that which has been known comprises both the tainted and the taintless.
