Ji says: Master Dayi holds that the upper two realms are called afflictions devoid of the pleasure of desire. Here, the taint of ignorance exclusively takes the ignorance associated with the sixty-two views, which is exclusively in the desire realm, because these sixty-two views are called obstructions to liberation, and so on. As in the eighty-ninth fascicle, ignorance is primary; here it says ignorance, but in fact views are also included. As the eighty-ninth says: However, here it only adduces the discriminative views of the posterior limit and does not adduce the views of the prior limit, because the treatise says 'the taint of ignorance of desire'—desire means longing, and longing arises more strongly directed toward the posterior limit, whereas directed toward the prior limit it is not called the taint of ignorance, just as in the eighty-ninth.
