'Existence-nature': existence-nature means possessing substantial entity; effect-nature means that which is possessed by the cause. The entity is called existence; the meaning is called effect-nature. Between these, do they act as an obstructing condition for the substantial entity, or do they act as an obstructing condition for the meaning of the effect? If possessing an entity is the obstructing condition, the substantial entity is permanently existent; if so, the nature could never be manifested, and manifestation would be like non-manifestation, because it permanently has an entity. The cause is also existent; why does it not act as an obstruction, while the effect alone, being existent, can act as an obstruction?
