Regarding the phrase 'just as with one's renunciation, having also no remorse, etc.': Master Tai says: Leaving the household is called 'renunciation'; regret is called 'remorse'. One sees great dread in minor offenses. This explains that just as with leaving the household, one has nothing to regret, up to not violating even minor offenses; hence it is said 'having no regret.' Supposing one commits a minor offense, if one is able to repent, one will subsequently commit no violation again, and so forth. Regarding 'just as with remorse, having also no violation': One regrets having done little good, but commits no violation.
