Now I explain: the twenty-five interpretations still do not fully exhaust the principle; within the severance of a single grade, there should also be gradual severance. The explanations of the three masters should be considered by analogy with the preceding; thus, in total, there are twenty-eight interpretations. However, in Dharmapāla's school, the three-mind path of seeing is the subsequently obtained knowledge and does not directly sever obstructions. When the treatise says, "the śrāvaka and pratyekabuddha can contemplate that only the aggregates can be apprehended," it means that the śrāvaka and pratyekabuddha see the tathatā of personal selflessness within the aggregates.
