雪山側無熱池，《涅槃》云香山頂，此云近雪山，《樓炭》、《起世經》云皆云雪北香南，此文為正。《瑜伽》、《涅槃》各據一近處，亦不相違。出四大河者，勘《西域記》。帝釋宮，縱廣十千，《俱舍》云：周圍一萬。此全大彼，或合縱廣，量亦同也。

Lake Anavatapta beside the Snow Mountain: the Nirvāṇa [Sūtra] says it is atop Mount Gandhamādana, while this text says it is near the Snow Mountain; the Loutan jing and the Qishi jing both say it is north of the Snow [Mountain] and south of the Fragrant [Mountain], and this text is the correct one. The Yogācārabhūmi and the Nirvāṇa [Sūtra] each rely on one nearby place, so they are not contradictory either. Regarding the issuance of the four great rivers, consult the Record of the Western Regions. The palace of Śakra is ten thousand [yojanas] in length and breadth; the Kośa says: its circumference is ten thousand. This is entirely larger than that; or if length and breadth are combined, the measures are also the same.
