Among the four ways of entering the womb, the wheel-turning king enters with correct awareness: in the intermediate existence, his final mind does not arouse greed or attachment, knowing that he is about to be born. He does not know his dwelling or departure: because his mind is confused and deluded, he does not know he is dwelling in the womb or leaving the womb. This refers to the golden-wheel king, not the other three kinds. Or it may apply to all four, since there is no text ruling it out. A pratyekabuddha knows his entry and dwelling: he does not arouse greed or attachment, knowing he is in the womb; his mind is confused only upon leaving. This refers to the life in which he is about to attain pratyekabuddhahood, not prior stages.
