七慢，依五法起，謂上、中、下、我及德生。如《五蘊論》及〈決擇〉。皆通見、修斷。
The seven types of pride arise based on five dharmas, namely, superior, middling, inferior, self, and the arising of virtues. As in the Pañcaskandhaka-śāstra and the Viniścayasaṃgrahaṇī. All are eliminated by both vision and cultivation.
