此論文義繁廣，不可解盡理源，其間難文義違宗緒，分段皆備解釋，餘皆略之。論初十七地，已前自有《釋論》一卷，故即略而不廣，妨難及不盡之處，今粗而敘出。

The textual passages and meanings of this treatise are manifold and vast, such that the source of their principles cannot be completely fathomed. As for difficult passages and meanings where they clash with the fundamental tenets, these are all fully explained section by section; the rest are all abridged. Prior to the Seventeen Bhūmis at the beginning of the treatise, there is already one fascicle of the Vibhāṣā; therefore, it is abridged here rather than elaborated. Difficulties and points not fully treated are now roughly brought forth and presented.
