Below, from "Furthermore, all sentient beings in accordance with such...", is the second major section in analyzing saṃsāra, which explains that when observing the sequence of saṃsāra, the meaning of the phrase "destruction of the outflows" is difficult to awaken to. In this there are three parts: first, observing the successive sequence of saṃsāra; next, explaining that only by observing this does one obtain the destruction of the outflows; finally, that this doctrine and principle are difficult to awaken to. The first passage has two parts: first the heading, and then the explanation. "This again to another, this again to another" means grandfather, father, child, and grandchild sequentially serving as the four conditions for one another. Due to the bodily endowment and growth, saṃsāra continues without interruption; as long as one has not realized bodhi and has not reached the stage of a Buddha, it cycles endlessly; if one hears the true Dharma, internally reflects on it, and cultivates and realizes the noble truths, only then does one obtain the destruction of the outflows, and such a saṃsāra will only then cut off transmigration.
