10.58

論曰「若於欲界能獲他世財寶具足、自體具足等，乃至修習後法自利利他」者，此中意，謂欲界死，還生欲界，或生色界，色界死已，還生欲界，所得自體、財寶，又現憂苦俱，修善因，於當來世獲善果故，故他世自利利他也。

Regarding the treatise's statement: "If in the desire realm one can obtain endowment with wealth and endowment with a physical body in another life, up to cultivating self-benefit and other-benefit in future lives": the meaning here is that one dies in the desire realm and is reborn back into the desire realm, or is born into the form realm, and having died in the form realm, is reborn back into the desire realm. Because of the physical body and wealth obtained, and furthermore, together with present anxieties and sufferings, one cultivates wholesome causes and obtains wholesome fruits in future lives; therefore, it is self-benefit and other-benefit in another life.
