論總結前等得果中唯明後八，不論自性得果者，以自性門不離後八門，故不說。　問曰：若爾，如上來俱云第二一切，後方餘七是此差別，若不離故不說，應不說第二門所感果。義曰：不然。初自性第二差別感果自性，不說此感果中約相似者，非剋體感共一，自為諸果因門故。

In the treatise's general conclusion on attaining fruits and so forth, it explains only the latter eight without discussing attaining fruits through intrinsic nature; because the gateway of intrinsic nature is not separate from the latter eight gateways, it is not mentioned. / Question: If so, since as above all state that the second is 'all', and only after that do the remaining seven constitute its differentiations, if it is not stated because it is not separate, one should not explain the fruit brought about by the second gateway. The explanation is: this is not so. The first is intrinsic nature, and the second is differentiation; as for the intrinsic nature that brings about fruits, not mentioning this in the bringing about of fruits is according to similarity, not that their realized substances bring about the same one collectively, since it is intrinsically the causal gateway of the various fruits.
